​I taught Auto Service Technology for 3 years and Auto Collision Repair Technology for 27 years at the Perryville (MO) Career and Technology Center. While teaching, my certifications included:

​

  • ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician

  • ASE Master Certified Auto Body Repair Technician

  • ASE Certified Heavy Truck Technician

 

After I retired from teaching, my wife Sally and I, along with Ginger, our Australian Shepherd, began traveling in a Cougar Fifth Wheel travel trailer. We then purchased a Tiffin Allegro Bay motorhome. Currently we have a Dynamax Series 4 Class C motorhome.

I have attended classes at the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) in Athens, Texas.

Industry Tools Used to Inspect Your RV

  • Volt Ohm Meter - Measures AC and DC voltage, amps and ohms. Used to check 120 volt and 12 volt electrical systems in all RV’s.

  • Voltage Frequency Tester - Measures the frequency of voltage.

  • Manometer - Used to check for propane leaks and LP gas pressure levels.

  • GFCI Outlet Tester - Tests electrical circuitry.

  • Trailer Light Tester - We check the electrical circuit for connectivity to ensure that your lights work properly.
